I have purchased several Archos products and found them very satisfactory. But this Archos second brand (Arnova) was a disappointment. It will not properly work with the Kindle e-reader app. The top line of the text is hidden by the "status" bar. All the other tablets that I have don't have this problem. Other apps that will only display in portrait mode display upside down. The physical buttons are on the top of the tablet to read the app. The orientation sensor is very slow to flip the page. I emailed Arnova Customer Support long ago and still have not received an answer. On the good side, this tablet is not heavy and the screen is bright. It has played all the apps I installed without hesitation.
